The two carpets will be used for small group science cooperative learning groups. Students enjoy learning in an environment where they can move around the room and experience different hands-on learning. Students will work in a highly engaging, flexible area to complete various science activities, in a "center" atmosphere. The carpets will be used to have specific meeting sites for different centers in the room. As students rotate to the areas, they will have a place to sit that is comfortable, and also educational. We can move the carpets as needed to accommodate students and the activities they work on.

About my class
