These teaching tools will help me enhance my literacy instruction for my dual language learner pre-k students. These tools will help me build my students' proficiency in alphabetic knowledge, phonemic/phonological awareness, vocabulary, and storytelling (oral language/future writing). This year I would like all of my students to score "exceeding expectations" on the state assessment and enter kindergarten prepared to begin reading. My school district is planning to open traditionally, however, I have selected materials that would greatly enhance my virtual instruction if that is a situation we are placed in again.
