These Kindle Fire 7's will help my low income students be provided with a resource to use in the classroom. Many of my students do not have access to a computer or cell phone at school or at home. By using these Kindle's, these students will be able to play online review games such as Kahoot and Quizizz. They will also be able to do online research for projects in class. It will make the information more accessible to them at school and help them to be more successful on their classwork. Hurricane Harvey left many of my students without the option to have resources such as these, as well as not allowing the school district to provide them. Technology like this will help my students prepare for high school by doing research projects and master the TEKS needed to be successful in the 7th grade.
