These materials will help bring science to life through immersive technology on tablets. For our upcoming Atomic Unit in 8th grade science, my goal is to immerse my students in the world of elements through an interactive periodic table. This will enhance their experience with hands-on 3D activities through apps, giving students an opportunity to explore the elements through models, games, 3-D images, and deepen their understanding of how elements make up the entire world around us. These tablets will not only be used for the Atomic Unit, but for future units to bring the magical world of science to life for our 8th grade students.
