Having access to assistive technology will make a huge impact in the lives of my students. My students will use these devices all day, every day. This project will give my students the means to become more engaged in their world. From the moment a student walks in the door, they can use their device to greet peers and teachers. During calendar time, they can discuss the weather, months, and days of the week. At lunchtime, they can independently request chocolate milk. They can play games and engage with peers during recess. During academic time, a student can raise their hand confidently, knowing they have a way to share their thoughts and ideas.

About my class
