These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by allowing them to become even more familiar with technology. It will allow them to actually research things and explore ideas. I teach first grade so the idea of students in first grade researching can be scary but, my students love to do this. I currently have 15 laptops but I am short 4 pieces of technology. I have 4 students that are not able to use the laptops if we are using them as a whole class. These tablets will provide all of my students with the opportunity to expand their learning and curiosity through technology. They will also provide students with a different method of technology since we currently only have computers. This generation is heavily focused on technology so as teachers, we are encouraged to use technology as much as possible. This is very tough to do since I currently do not have enough resources. This would benefit my students and my classroom greatly by allowing me to challenge them and give them the opportunity to explore and research things, even if it is simple things.
