The idea of Flexible Seating has been proven to help students “own” their learning. By offering my kiddos a variety of seating options, I will foster a community of learners who are comfortable in their environment, while building the confidence to express their own creativity and choose their own unique path to academic success. Through providing different kinds of work spaces, I will encourage my new kiddos to experiment and, with my guidance, figure out how they best learn. You'd be surprised how a change of classroom scenery can change a child's work output. Let's rethink the traditional desk and chair model!
