For my class, a vast majority of what we discuss can be applied to real-world scenarios. The funding of this project will allow my students to learn about gel electrophoresis and allow them to analyze DNA sequences as well as their size in their school's own lab. The learning possibilities will expound on things they learn in class and really allow them to see how researchers can use this technology in company labs. This will aid them in making more connections with the curriculum and provide them with a better overall understanding of how this technology works.

About my class
