Children with autism benefit from visual learning, flexible seating, sensory integration, and more. Flexible seating gives students an opportunity to be in control of their physical learning environment in which they work best. Wobble chairs will allow students to be focused and engaged in their learning while also getting their wiggles out. Visual materials and sensory integration helps students better understand instruction, can increases their comprehension, and allows them to process information in many different ways. I have seen how flexible seating, sensory input, and visual materials positively affect my students and their learning. These materials will make a difference in my students learning throughout the entire day by meeting many of their different needs. I know that these additional supplies will help them grow academically and socially.
