I teach 8th grade Civics at a dual language public school in Boston, where students learn in both English and Spanish. This is a new school for me, and I’m thrilled to bring my passion for civic engagement into the classroom. Teaching Civics is more important now than ever. My goal is to help students understand how government works, recognize their power as young people, and become thoughtful, active members of their communities. With your support, I can create a classroom where every student feels seen, heard, and equipped to make a difference.
