My goal is to create a student-centered classroom to increase self-motivation, student engagement, and creativity. What better way to reach that goal than create a classroom where students are comfortable and capable of making decisions for themselves? Student choice, physical health, collaboration, and fun are possible when students have different options in their work space. I cannot wait to see my students' engagement improve tremendously because they are able to move while they work using the flex ball seats. I can envision the smiles on their young faces as they sit together working hard on projects in the small group table. I hope to be able to provide them with more seating options which gives them a sense of comfort, support, and freedom.
