My 10th grade students have a lot of heart. They come from varying backgrounds, life stages, and family situations. Our district was heavily affected by Harvey. Almost everyone suffered from the flooding and tornadoes, some were even displaced. Their strength and resiliency is why teachers do what we do. My students are compassionate and inquisitive. My classroom is about building relationships based on inclusivity and our shared experiences! These kids are our future, and I want to give them everything I possibly can!
