My third grade students are eager to learn, enjoy hands-on activities, and being creative. We are in a very diverse neighborhood with a high number of students who are English learners and new to this country. They enjoy being challenged and using technology to expand their learning. Some of my students come from families that travel and value learning, while others have very limited experiences. Through technology they are able to experience these things that they haven't had an opportunity to do before. Something so simple can help excite my students to want to come to school everyday and explore and learn through different modalities.
