Each and every book that lives in my classroom is appreciated and is treated with care and respect. The pages will be worn and torn only after countless students spend hours diving into an unknown world. Let's give these kids something good to read and write about! Social media and technological advances have taken over the world and hard copy books are thrown on the back-burner. Unfortunately, most of my students do not have access to books, let alone to technological devices. I want to be able to give my students everything that they need to create successful futures. The majority of the students do not have access to books or computers at home and have limited experiences at school due to the lack of resources and funds in this district. With your help, we can give my students books to read and a computer to learn how to research topics, type papers, and write proper emails.
