Headphones are essential for my classroom as my students use Chromebooks 85% of the time. Our textbook features recordings of each reading passage and majority of my students rely on this accommodation. There are also embedded videos and interactive online tutorials for students to access in their textbook as well as other literacy software we use on regular basis. Headphones will also be utilized for assessment purposes to use text-to-speech features when applicable. The headphones I have selected are durable and reliable, as well as noise-cancelling, which is necessary in a large classroom of middle school students.
