Every student must feel safe and important in class in order for maximum learning to take place. Teaching growth mindset to students, starting each day with a warm smile and greeting my students help to create a positive atmosphere; but additionally, having an organized classroom with sensory-rich detail will help target the positive physical classroom environment I hope to provide for my students. A positive environment isn't automatically there, it has to be created by the teacher. The cricut maker will allow for any poster and lettering to be created as well as allow for student access in creating STEAM tasks such as balsa wood cutting for gliders and bridge construction.
