These books will allow students to have more voice and choice in my classroom. My classroom library is small, sad and outdated. It does not allow students to enjoy the new and exciting literature that is being written today. These are books that students have read by my personal recommendation or in book clubs and now the library and myself cannot keep the minimal copies we have on the shelves. Our book sets for literature club are also outdated and not within grade level anymore. With these new books, my students have more exciting choices to read with groups or independently to inspire a love of reading again.
