I get to spend my days with 38 very diverse 2nd graders who are learning to be problem solvers, future leaders, and responsible citizens. When these students step off the bus, they arrive from different demographics and some complex family situations, but once we close the classroom door everyone has an equal chance to be awesome. This group, which includes beginning through advanced readers is a collaborative group that enjoys working together and helping each other. They are the type of students you can't help but want to be with every day!

About my class
