I am working tirelessly to convert my classroom into a safe space. I work with a variety of high risk students, some with underlying medical conditions. I am trying to keep everything as safe and clean as possible from the desk they sit in and now I am working on the air they breathe. I am looking to have an air purifier for them to reduce some of the risk of coming on to campus in a few short weeks. Our school has a very outdated ventilation system with no clear plan on a solution. The air purifier can help us learn safely and remove some of the fears of return to in person creating a positive and safe environment for the kids so they can focus on learning and not COVID-19.
