Students at my school come from homes that struggle to meet the challenges of everyday life such as putting food on the table and providing clothes for school. Most homes do not have any type of technology. Our campus is a Title One school in a very challenging neighborhood. Many of my students face an unimaginable home life for such a young age. They have seen and heard things I cannot even fathom. However, they somehow still come to school eager to learn and fascinated by the information. It is amazing how driven students can be when you provide them with the right tools.

About my class
