The Barbara Vick Village is a Chicago Public School Early Childhood and Family Center located in the Chicago Lawn Community. The majority of the students come from low income families and Hispanic background. My classroom is an Instructional Early Childhood Special Education Classroom with students with various disabilities: developmental delays, autism, speech difficulties, among others. They are always exposed to new activities, materials, and strategies to enhance their unique strengths and develop new skills. All children can learn!
