This group of enthusiastic, bilingual kindergrtners love to learn everything they can about themselves and the world around them. They attend a public school that does not have adequate resources to support literacy learning in Spanish. The school also has limited funding for technology. All of the students in my classroom qualify for free/reduced lunch. For many of them, this is their first experience working independently in small groups, reading a variety of literature, and using technology. In order to make this a positive and successful learning experience, we need quality nonfiction and character education literature. We also need an LCD projector so that we can share interesting, up-to-date online information with the whole class. Thank you for supporting our classroom!
