My students need more tactile experiences in the STEM lab, particularly my kindergarten-second grade students. Please help support the needs of my students by supporting this grant project! My students and I would greatly appreciate it. The items gifted in this grant would be used in the STEM lab to help students learn how to work in cooperative groups. Oftentimes with lower grade students, I connect literacy with STEM activities. After reading a picture book, students collaborate to develop a plan to build a structure the coincides or support/helps the characters within the story.
