The magnetic boards with magnetic Base Ten Blocks will make it easier for the students to learn basic mathematical concepts including addition, subtraction, number sense, place value and counting. Mathematical manipulatives make it more meaningful for students when they learn a new math concept. Teachers can assess what students show on their boards and correct misconceptions through a quick show-and-tell. The dry erase markers are essential in moving the students from the concrete into the abstract. Students make mistakes when showing their work, and an erasable board will save the students time in correcting their work. The .teacher can ask the whole class to put up their boards and take a quick look to see which student(s) need more help.
