If you or someone you know has a disability, then you well know the many challenges faced by people with special needs. You also know the difference that a supportive and rich educational experience can make in providing opportunities for personal growth and success. At The Child School, I strive to provide each of my high need, 6th grade special education students with individualized instruction that builds on their unique skills and enables them to experience success. Like their more typically developing age-peers, they can be wacky and wonderful and moody and unpredictable; sometimes all at the same time! Every day is an exciting challenge to keep them engaged as I help them navigate their journey from childhood to adolescence and greater independence. Their success depends heavily on having access to a broad array of resources that can meet their diverse multi-sensory needs. This is where you can help!
