I am requesting a pair of headphones for each student that I teach. Each student already has a school-issued iPad with which we constantly use for daily lesson practice and for apps like Epic!, iReady, Spelling City, and many more. An active classroom can often be a noisy place and many students get distracted by classroom and iPad noises. If each of my students were able to have their own personal headphones, then this would allow each to help learn at his/ her own pace and keep distracting noise levels at a minimum while keeping learning at a maximum. By possessing their own classroom headphones, students would also be able to learn the responsibility of caring for and keeping their own needed materials together.
