Our students love coming to school in the beautiful Northwest. We are a title 1 school and over 70% of students are receiving free and reduced lunch. Our students come from diverse backgrounds. While some have 2 parents to care for them, there's some who are in transient housing and in foster care. Many parents are working in manual labor and long hours. Many of the students are often left alone fending for themselves or cared for by their aging grandparents. They don't have people helping with their homework and the school is the most important constant in their lives.

About my class
