As math becomes more challenging and abstract, students often find themselves pulling away from the subject in middle school. To keep students engaged, I try to relate all of our topics to everyday life. Our most recent project had students creating their own business. While we were practicing our computation with decimals, students were dreaming of their own business complete with brochures, promotions, and slogans. Student businesses were brought to life with colorful paper, markers, and supplies. Their visions would not have been possible without some basics needed in the classroom. Please help me keep the momentum going with your donation!
