The horseshoe table, beanbag chairs, flexible stools and ball seats will provide my high school students a chance to move while learning in one place. This also gives the classroom a new and exciting vibe other than the standard brown tables and blue chairs that are hard. This year we are switching to a block schedule where the classes will be anywhere from 83 minutes to 94 minutes. I would like to give my students the opportunity to move as we learn without being a distraction from the content of the lesson! This flexible seating will help them be more flexible in their learning! I see it being an exciting change to the same, mundane classroom and will give them the opportunity to move while in class!
