I want to provide my students with resources for daily STEAM learning. As 21st century learners it is important for students to be given opportunities to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math on a daily basis. I have chosen a design and building bundle. This comes with three kits for bridge, vehicle and house building. I like this because it can go into my bins that students use daily for free time. The STEM bundle has other activities like this that can be used on a daily basis but also has other more specific themes like motion, magnets and a coding robot for whole group lessons and exploring. STEM/ STEAM resources provide young learners hands on, engaging, explorative activities that will help them to foster problem solving skills, questioning, imagination, creativity, collaboration and so much more. It is also never too early for students to explore the many careers that await them. Finding what interests them now can act as motivation throughout their school years preparing them for their future.
