OSMO makes learning fun! These interactive games are a fun-filled way for students to learn beginning coding. Each one ordered includes an OSMO Base for an iPad, Tangram pieces, Numbers tiles, Words tiles, Stackable storage for each game & 5 Game Apps. I plan to use these interactive devices with iPads to spark students' curiosity and teach beginning coding! In addition to the 5 interactive activities includes with each OSMO, I have requested Coding Jam, where students will learn to use patterns and problem solving in creating music. Also requested is Detective Agency, an interactive way to search for landmarks around the world while also learning trivia facts about geography, culture, and history. These interactive devices will be an addition to our library collection at LaFayette Lanier Elementary. I plan to add these to our school library inventory and initially use them in a library center. I hope once teachers see them, they will check them out from the library for use in the classroom.
