With each issue, students will build reading, writing and thinking skills that they need to succeed in school and beyond. These stories and articles capture the readers attention and are all stories that are easily relatable and evoke personal connections or text-to-text connections. These Storyworks magazines will transform our Language Arts curriculum by integrating exciting, complex texts that will challenge and elicit higher level thinking for all students. Our goal is to not only be prepared for middle school but to grow into successful young adults who have developed a love for reading and inquiry.
