These books will update my current classroom library. I have chosen high interest books that I think my diverse middle schoolers will enjoy. We have a scheduled DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) time, daily in our class. Many times, my students will go to my bookcases to find books. I currently do not have any graphic novels and very limited nonfiction books for them to choose. I also chose some multicultural books that I am sure will interest all of my students. I added a new pencil sharpener, as well as pencils, because that is always a necessity for my middle school students. :)
