My classroom is a STEAM classroom. I want my students to have the experience of bringing their creations alive with LEGO materials. Students can use the LEGO Education SPIKE Essential kit to engage in hands-on investigations that involve science, literacy, and math. One of the Next Generation Science Standards students will get to work with is 3-5-ETSI-3 Engineering Design. This standard basically states that students will plan and carry out tests with a designed model while making improvements along the way. This is an experience I want to give students.
