The garden boxes, garden tools, and gloves will all be used for the Preschool students to learn about gardening. They have such an interest in digging and "planting" things like grass and rocks. These items will allow them to actually grow a garden, pick produce, and eat it. The items will teach them responsibility and building something together. The gardening supplies will allow the students to learn through gardening, something hands on and exploratory. They will be able to experience what it is like to take care of something and see the end result. Being able to take care of plants will give my students the chance to work on compassion and empathy as well.
