My students have never seen real MRI images. We study them, talk about them, and determine what types of careers utilize them but to be able to see images, hands on, would help make the connection. When we discuss nutrition in sports medicine and orientation we can utilize the testing strips to test the food we put in our bodies. I believe that nutrition starts with a good understanding of the foods we consume What better way to learn than testing the foods we eat everyday? In orientation we discuss the negative effects of smoking. It would be wonderful to put a picture to words!!
