Many of my students consider themselves to be outcasts in the school and see themselves as strangers in a strange land. They want, some desperately, to be understood and cared about. Some want to be able to read and write fiction, poetry and plays without worrying that they will be judged or mocked. Others want a place where they can explore ideas from Aristotle to Rawls. Still others are searching for that something that will help them start the next phase in their lives. Whatever the situation all of my students have big dreams and my dream is to help them accomplish theirs.

About my class
