The materials listed will help promote, and enhance, and assess student's listening and writing strategies essential to both National and State standards of Music Education. Further, these materials help drive instructional strategies through informal and formal assessments providing immediate feedback between teacher and student and parents. The materials help enhance student's overall engagement. Music Education National and Sate Standards require music students to Listen to, Identify, Analyze, and Describe a variety of music styles and cultures. The Bose Speaker System will be use for all daily and ongoing listening assessments and activities. To write, demonstrate, and express musical notation, students will use the Dry Erase Music Staff, Easel Pad, and the one Subject Notebooks. These sources will help drive instruction through group/individual and formal/informal assessments and projects. Multi-Colored manipulates help sustain student's engagement during instruction. The multi-colored sticky notes are fun and creative ways students will use to demonstrate informal assesments throughout instruction. They will brighten up a classroom environment.Dry erase markers and erasers are essential tools for dry erase boards. The one subject multicolored notebooks will serve as individual ways students will record writing assignments throughout the semester. Each student's notebook which will factor as a partial long-term project towards their overall academic success at the end of the semester. Music Education helps promote music talent, music theory, language arts skills in both reading, writing, and mathematical concepts. The materials listed will demonstrate and support National and State Music Standards by listening to a variety of music styles through multiple writing and reading strategies.
