The school in which I am the Media Specialist/Librarian services students in kindergarten through eighth grade. A large percentage of the students live with someone other than a mother or father. Grandparents, aunts, uncles or foster care are the primary caregivers in most of these cases. Many exhibit social, academic and behavioral problems due to their circumstances. Most of the students do not have computers in the home.
