By taking photographs and sharing them, students will be able to creatively enhance the work their produce in class. Having a digital camera will allow students to capture the stories that happen in a moment and share those moments with an audience. With the devices, students will have opportunities to enhance the digital and traditional texts they create. An image itself can be a text. By taking more pictures, students will have an opportunity to analyse the world more deeply and strategically. These skills relate directly to literary analysis as well the the ability to write a sound narrative. I want my students to have the opportunity to engage in the enriched literacy learning that photography has to offer.
