"The power of music makes all the difference to me with motivation throughout the day." Paul Brodie. Each day, I love to teach my students the importance of music through singing, composing, listening, and playing instruments in a variety of ways. Exposure to multiple art forms maximizes their learning opportunities. My students would love to learn to play the ukulele, which is suitable for young children. Funding this project will spark excitement to learn to play an instrument. To pique student interest while developing technical skills in playing the ukulele, students will work hard to learn the fundamentals of music (reading music, dynamics, expression), build their self-confidence, and become team-players. With your donation, students will learn responsibility for the care of an instrument and feel a sense of accomplishment as they grow and develop. Your donation will impact all of my K - 5 students.
