My students attend a Title I school. The school is located in one of the poorest communities in our town. As 6th graders, they are young and have not had very much exposure to real science. They are inquisitive and marvel at the ideas in Life Science. They have a million questions about the fish in the classroom. They wonder if their plants will grow when they raise them from seeds. One thing they need help with is organizational skills and realizing the value of being organized as it relates to being a good scientist.
