Our ESL students need multiple ways to engage with the English language and to develop a deeper understanding of unknown concepts. iPads are great tools to practice reading, writing, listening and speaking English to increase proficiency. It is easier for the students to navigate a touchscreen device. It is also mobile. Students like to sit on the floor when working. There are also many kid-friendly apps and features of an iPad that make it appropriate for students with limited computer skills. Giving to this project would allow the students to have access to new technology and would be an investment in their future as English speakers.

About my class
