As students are introduced to various science concepts they will be given opportunities to have many of these explained further through the development of group labs. Currently lab equipment is not available for this class. If funded, items such as the erlenmeyer flask (250mL) and beakers (250mL) will be used by the students as they mix various chemical and or compounds together in order to demonstrate various terms such as endothermic and exothermic reactions. The larger glassware, graduated cylinder (1,000 mL) and Beaker (600mL) will be used by the teacher when more control is needed for safety. These larger glassware will also increase visibility for the back of the class when they are being performed. An example of this would be such as the creation of elephant foam. Kits such as the foam city, and the sodium polyacrylate compound will be used by the instructor to demonstrate and control the safety for larger classes. And with explaining ideas that are at an atomic level, the molymod set will be idea showing students how atoms share electrons and bond with one another. I wish nothing more than for students to enjoy and look forward to a return visit to physical science. If funded, this equipment will last many years and the number of students will be only limited to the longevity of the items.
