The lab coats and safety glasses that I am requesting will be worn by the children when we are doing science experiments. My hope is that they will become excited about science and the experiments that I have planned. My desire is for my students to see themselves as real scientist, and what better way than with lab coats and glasses! Kindergarten is a time of exploration and lots and lots of learning, and I want to be able to motivate them and see the excitement in their eyes as they make new discoveries. Providing my class with fun and creative learning experiences to excite their learning is my one of my daily goals. I want them to have fun, be inspired to ask questions, explore the world around them, and be successful learners. Some of the ways they will use these science tools are painting with melting ice, dancing milk with food coloring and dish soap, melting skittles to make a rainbow, and many more!
