Currently my special education students have a traditional style classroom which limits their options for movement. It is my intent to create an environment that not only meets their academic needs but also meets their social, emotional, and physical needs as well. Flexible seating allows students to choose where they learn best. It is my goal to allow them to work where they can be active, productive and comfortable. For the return of school in September there will be guidelines for little to no movement throughout the school day due to COVID. Providing students with flexible seating options can help decrease their anxiety and promote a more promising learning environment during this unsettling time. Help me transform their classroom!
