With the supply of headphones, my Pre-Kindergarten - 5th grade students will be able to individually learn the foundations of keyboarding with individualized lessons completed. My 4th and 5th graders will build on those keyboarding skills, begin digital publication, and learn about coding and robotics. I want to capitalize on the basic knowledge of computers the students developed from the abrupt transition to virtual learning during the COVID pandemic. The headphones will also allow students with visual and learning disabilities be able to have access to text-to-speech during computerized assessments and when completing class work. I do not want to deny any student the opportunity to learn about computer technology as much as possible with any and all supplies needed to help them gain understanding.
