Cleaning supplies are scarce and have been teacher-funded or donated by parents up until now. We use sanitizer wipes between every time kids switch rooms. I spray at breaks. I have purchased my own air purifier, and we do our best to make sure no supplies are shared by germy hands. Supplies are almost out though. We need supplieds to keep our room as germ free as possible. Students need the wipes so they can wipe desks and chairs before another student sits at the same surface. This will reduce germ transfer from one student to another. Students need access to additional glues and markers, so consumable resources can be numbered and each student touches only one. This will make it so supplies do not have to be shares, and germ spread is minimized. Keeping a clean environment and reducing exposure to germs means I can help keep kids in the classroom, not on quarantine. Kids flat out do not learn as much when they are not here. I want my students in class with me so their futures can shine bright.
