One of the challenges with low-resourced communities is the access to equipment for education and recreation. Specifically for students of color and schools with a high percentage of students on free/reduced-price lunch, good recreation equipment for sports teams is hard to provide. Basic equipment to participate in sports is a challenge for most students that either want to develop as a player or just have fun. One of our mottos is "We All Belong" and this is one way you can support students with their outside of classroom experience. By providing the same level equipment that high-resourced schools have access to, you give these students equal opportunity. We have about 90 students come out during the year for soccer teams, so we are requesting twenty-five soccer training balls to get a 1:3 ratio for use during multiple practices during the week. We are also requesting 3 soccer game balls and 2 mesh bags to carry them around to games and practices. This will help to supply students with equipment for years to come so they don't have to use their own equipment for school participation. Thanks for supporting the community. Now you belong!
