My students come from economically disadvantaged homes and this Donnors Choose project will give them the opportunity to learn science through hands-on activities. These hands-on activities will engage my students and motivate them to think critically through experiments and implementing the scientific method! Through collaboration, my students will go from teacher guidance to independent productive thinkers. In Spring, my students will be ready to tackle their science fair project with confidence and a greater enthusiasm for learning. With these products as a springboard, these little scientists will partake in my class Spring Science Fair and blow it out of the water!
